PASTORAL CARE MINISTRIES

Pastoral Care Ministries exist to meet the spiritual, emotional and relational needs of the church and community including Visitation, Counseling and Training.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES

We welcome all kids to come and hear the gospel in a way that is entertaining while receiving the fullness of God's message for their lives. We have a nursery for ages infant - 3 yrs, LighthouseKids for ages 4-7 yrs and High Voltage Kids for ages 8-13. Your child is special to us at Lighthouse Worship Center. It is our desire to see every child reach their full potential in the Kingdom of God.

Lighthouse Nursery (infant - 3 yrs old)

You are never too young to learn about the Bible, sing songs, or have a great time in church. Lighthouse Nursery is our ministry to our youngest members and guests. We enjoy having all the children join us for worship in the sanctuary, and then at the appropriate time they will be dismissed to their classes. We welcome every child to be ministered to in this caring environment designed with them in mind. We have crafts, puppets, music, playtime and fun Bible lessons.

LighthouseKIDS (4 yrs - 7 yrs)

LighthouseKIDS is our ministry to children from ages 4 through 7. We learn about God in a way that is fun and interesting for them. Who is Jesus? How much does He love us? How do we serve Him? These are some of the questions we answer in our LighthouseKids classes. We enjoy having all the children join us for worship in the sanctuary, and then at the appropriate time they will be dismissed to their classes. We have Bible lessons, skits, crafts and other activities that your kids will love.

High Voltage Kids (8-13)

Lighthouse Worship Center has an awesome ministry for kids ages 8-13. We offer fun and interactive teaching from the Word of God along with crafts and games.. We enjoy having all the children join us for worship in the sanctuary, and then at the appropriate time they will be dismissed to their classes.

We hold an annual youth camp every summer for those age 5 and older.

WOMEN'S MINISTRIES

The goal of this ministry is to embrace and include all women into our LWC family, while providing a safe environment for fellowship and ministry opportunities. We also sponsor an annual fall ladies retreat at a beautiful resort area.

HOME GROUPS

A Home Group is a gathering that brings people face-to-face on a regular basis. We typically have prayer, a Bible study, and fellowship (Acts 2:42,46). Group members share common goals and seek to grow together in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. Relationships are formed, needs are met and you are nurtured and loved by people who really care and want to see you fulfill the call of God that is on your life. Ephesians 2:19 says, "Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God;" What this means is that we are members of God's very own family, citizens of God's country, and you belong in God's household with every other Christian. You are called to belong, not just believe. The Bible says we are put together, joined together, built together, members together, heirs together, fitted together and held together and we will also be caught up together!

PROPHETIC MINISTRIES

The five-fold ministry represents "the hand of God" in the church today. Lighthouse Worship Center welcomes the Prophetic manifestation of God's Spirit within Biblical guidelines.

Prophetic gifts are essential tools that will enable the church to effectively function in the apostolic, evangelistic, pastoral and teaching ministry. It is our desire is to provide, and effectively walk in, the Biblical interpretation of God's revelation.

"And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:" (Ephesians 4:11-13).

God has given His nine gifts of the Holy Spirit to enable us to mature spiritually, edify others and do the work of the ministry. The gifts are placed in the church as a resource to be utilized at the point of need for ministry in the body. Our desire should be to earnestly seek "the Giver" and not the gifts, then "all these things shall be added unto you" (Matthew 6:33).

"Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant." (1 Corinthians 12:1).

Gifts of the Holy Spirit

Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. (1 Corinthians 12:4-12).

True spiritual discernment is rooted in love. Spiritual gifts which are not motivated by love are "a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal" (1 Corinthians 13:1) Our sole desire must be to see Him glorified.
